HueHorse.com User Guide
- Getting Crystal Shards
- Every member starts with 150cs, enough to create one HueHorse, but soon you will want more HueHorses so that you can collect and breed them. You will need to share your HueHorses. Once you create your first HueHorse visit his page. There you will find information on how to post your HueHorse around the internet. Share them with friends and family and earn clicks and referrals. Each time a unique IP address clicks on your link you will get 1cs. Every member you get to join will count as a referral. Each referral gives you 1cs per day for as long as they keep playing! You can use crystal shards to purchase more HueHorses, breed them, power up your chrono, buy them accessories, and even change their coat color. You can also earn more crystal shards by selling the items you create in the mall.
- Aging & The Seasons
- On HueHorse every member is given a Chrono. Chronos are special time altering mechanisms. They allow you to control the changing of the season. Each year starts in spring, and you can click "Advance The Season". Once you have done this 4 times and are once again in Spring your horses will grow one year older. HueHorses take 1 year to hatch from a Rainbow Crystal, must be 4 years old to breed and can live to be a total of 40 years old. All your HueHorses will get older together, and horses created in a later season will still grow a year at the next spring. Your chrono has the power to store 1 additional season a day. If you have enough crystal shards to power up your Chrono you can also capture more seasons with it. Your horses will not get any older unless you advance the season.
- Breeding Your Horses
- HueHorses can breed once they are four years old. Use the Breed Your HueHorse link on your member page during the Spring season. You must own a male and a female HueHorse that have not been bred already this year and are four years or older. It costs 100cs to breed your HueHorses and each HueHorse can only breed once in a year. Once you breed your HueHorse you will receive a Rainbow Crystal. The Rainbow Crystal will grow for 1 full year and be born the next spring.
- HueHorse Colors
- HueHorses have three genes made of Primary light. The genes are Red, Green, and Blue. These genes can mix to create 27 unique basic HueHorse colors. In the future you will be able to alter these base colors to get even more amazing shades.

- How a HueHorse is made.
- A HueHorse is made from 4 different parts. These parts all work together to make the finished HueHorse image. HueHorse is special because it allows you to contribute your own building blocks to make HueHorses unique and even more fun. The four parts of a HueHorse are the Light Source, the Optical Filter, the Focal Lens and the Artifact Layer.
- The Light Source: The Light Source glows brightly emitting your HueHorse's color of light. This Light Source is what makes your HueHorse so bright and colorful. Without it all HueHorses would be see through. The light source is the core most layer of your HueHorse and can not be altered.
- The Optical Filter The Optical Filter is a layer that you can add to customize your HueHorse. This filter can make all sorts of beautiful patterns and colors. By bending and twisting the light coming from the Light Source the Filter modifies how the HueHorse's mane, tail and coat appear. With an Optical Filter your HueHorse can have all sorts of markings from traditional face and leg markings of real horses to complex patterns, swirls and rainbows. The important thing to remember is that Filters only effect the hair of the HueHorse. If you would like to modify its eyes, hooves, give them brands or decorations you will need to use an Artifact Layer. All Optical Filters must have some transparency. The Light Source must show through the Filter. However its creator can decide which areas will be completely transparent, only partially transparent or completely opaque. HueHorse can have many Optical Filters allowing infinite variety. While the filter must show the Light Source the final HueHorse image can have the Light Source completely blocked.
- The Focal Lense: The Focal Lens is like the skin of your HueHorse. It takes the data from the Light Source and Optical Filter and molds it into the shape of a HueHorse. At this time the Focal Lens can not be altered, but there is plans to allow modifying it in the future.
- The Artifact Layer:By far the most fun layer of your HueHorse is the Artifact Layer. Artifacts act like stickers. They sit on top of the Focal Lens and act as decorations and accessories. You can create clothing, armor, pets, ribbons, flowers, hoof decorations, new eye colors, mohawks, wings, horns, rainbows, whatever you imagination desires. Artifacts must have large area of complete transparency. Most items created will fall into the Artifact category. If in doubt submit the item as an Artifact.
